Mission
Carolyn Foley Dutta was always in motion - playing with her kids, cooking,
gardening, or running. She had an inexhaustible amount of energy and was full of
life and laughter. Carolyn was born in Milford, Michigan on February 25, 1967.
She graduated from Milford High School in 1985 and attended the University of
Michigan. In 2000, she married Suman Dutta and they had three beautiful children
together - Esme (8), Liam (5), and Vivienne (2). She worked for Fujitsu while
raising her children in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Carolyn was passionately committed
to having a healthy, well-balanced, and fun family that centered around creating
great meals and exercising together. The Carolyn Foley Dutta Fund will support
organizations that further her goals for family and health by funding programs
that focus on nutrition, exercise, and the overall well-being of children. She
would have loved the fact that her generous and compassionate nature will be
reflected in this fund that will help so many people.
